Her story with the forklift

She said, "I hope to drive a clean forklift." Every day when I get home, I don't want to be covered in the smell of gasoline.
She said, "I hope to drive a simple and easy forklift. Earn more to make life better."
She said, "My hopes are gradually coming true. In the future, there will be more women in the position offorklift driver, shining and making a difference while driving new energyforklifts."
In today's warehousing and logisticsindustry, with the development of society, technology and equipment, more and more women are joining in and playing important roles in various links, such as administrators, sorters, operators, etc. Especially in the handling process, due to the continuous iteration of equipment, the continuous simplification ofoperation methods, coupled with the unique meticulousness and caution of women, sometimes women can hold up half the sky in it.

In a certain warehousing and logisticscenter, forklifts shuttle back and forth between various points, ensuring thenormal operation of goods and commodities. After several confirmations, wefinally confirmed the fact that "there are female forklift drivers". After communicating with her, she told us, "The impression that it's notcommon for women to drive forklifts is too rigid. In fact, obtaining a forkliftdriver's license is not difficult and there are no gender restrictions. As longas you put in a little effort, it's quite easy to get one." And her storyof now driving a forklift began shortly after she started working, when shebegan to consider her future livelihood. She said that she initially joined thelogistics industry family because she felt that e-commerce and express deliveryhad been booming in recent years, and the logistics industry should be asunrise industry in the future. At the beginning of her employment, in order tofamiliarize herself with the work more quickly, she rotated between sorter, tallyman and administrator. It was precisely these front-line jobs that oftenbrought her into close contact with forklifts, but at that time she didn't likeforklifts. In the past, the forklifts within the enterprise had not beenupgraded yet, and there were more fuel-powered forklifts. As a result, thenoise and exhaust emissions were quite heavy every day. Sometimes, afterworking for a long time in the warehousing and logistics center, when I gothome at night, I still felt a buzzing in my head. At that time, my childrenoften complained about the strong smell of gasoline on their bodies. At thattime, I hoped that my colleagues around me would drive "clean"forklifts and that every day when I got home, I wouldn't be covered in the smell of gasoline.

Later, as the enterprise developed, thewarehousing and logistics center began to trial BYD's new energy forklifts andgradually purchased to replace the original fuel-powered forklifts. Before thecomplete replacement, it is obvious that the warehousing and logistics centerseems to have been divided into two worlds, one side quiet and clean, and theother side noisy and exhaust. She smiled and said, "Later on, asenvironmental protection requirements became stricter, all the forklifts insidethe warehousing and logistics center were replaced with BYD's new energyforklifts. Exaggeratedly, the world became quiet." The child even askedme, "Mom, have you changed positions?" It seems that I haven'tsmelled any gasoline on you recently. Life is like chocolate. You never knowwhat flavor the next one will be. Her working environment began to improve andbecome better, but her life suddenly encountered some difficulties. Theeconomic predicament made me start to think about improving myself to seek morerewards, and the first thing that came to my mind was to become a new energyforklift driver. However, she wasn't sure if she could adapt to forkliftdriving. After chatting with her colleagues, she found that women could fullyadapt to new energy forklifts in terms of both driving comfort and convenience. So, through continuous efforts, she became a professional and certified driver.

When asked about her feelings of holdingthe steering wheel of the new energy forklift until today, she said, "It'squite good. The batch of BYD new energy forklifts in our warehousing andlogistics center are very sturdy. They have been driven for so many yearswithout any major problems. Moreover, the after-sales service is also good.Generally, if there are any minor faults, they can be solved quickly."Anyway, my biggest feeling is that it's comfortable to drive, there's no noise,no exhaust fumes, and it looks good too. At this moment, the sunlight brokethrough the clouds in the sky and fell precisely on her face. The femininebeauty and the confidence of the experienced forklift driver were all high lighted even more brilliantly.

In the future, to support the developmentof the warehousing and logistics industry and also to enable women to work moreeasily and cleanly in each link of warehousing and logistics. Byd forkliftswill continue to optimize the quality of its products, enhance the userexperience of new energy forklifts, and allow the brilliance of women to shinein more fields of warehousing and logistics as well as driving and handling.
